Independence Day Celebration
With hearts filled with pride, GD Goenka High School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with a vibrant tribute to our nation.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting by our Chief Guests, Major Kartikye Sharma, Administrator, GD Goenka Education City, and Captain Anita Ganjoo, Chief of Residences, alongside our Principal, Ms. Sumana Dutta Sarkar.
The highlight was “Freedom on Trial?”, a thought-provoking musical dance drama through which our students explored what freedom truly means and the responsibility that comes with it.
Through music, dance and storytelling, they reminded us that the India we inherit is also the India we have the power to shape.
